As the end of a season is upon us, the next season is of the main focus. Checking is now going to be apart of your son's life and we want to ensure that they are ready to take it on with knowledge and safety. We have formulated a Checking Program to prepare these players for the spring and beyond.  New this year the program will consist of on ice and off ice instruction to fully prepare these players for checking.

We are doing this early so that players learn the in's and out's of checking before they participate in spring tournaments, practices and invite teams. 

The program will focus on a few key areas:

• How to properly give a stick check

• Giving and receiving a full body check

• On the boards and in open ice

• Fundamental body checking positions

• Creating confidence
